|13:13 - Day by Day to Each Almost the Same|
"I'm Robin Hood, man. I steal from the rich and give to the needy."
"You mean the poor."
"No, I mean the needy. 'Cause brother, we need this car."
Madd's log, Maddate 020124.48 1239p:
[EVENTS wed 1-23] So I took off from Bud's. I was going to stop at Wal-Mart to pick some things up. On my way, I decided to stop at the car wash. I was not sure how to use this thing since I had never been there before. I let the time run our because I had no clue what I was doing. However, I figured it out. So here I am, giving Alex a shower around 2 in the morning. How funny. After the bath, I darted over to Wal-Mart.
As I was passing by electronics, since I go there first thing even when the plan is not to buy electronics, I saw what appeared to be a familiar face in an isle. So I backtracked and sure enough, it was former manager Scott. He was looking as good as ever. We talked for a long while. I always admired him. He was the best thing that the managers had going back in the day when he was a manager. Now he is perfectly happy doing night receiving. He reminds me of a certain someone. So, after that nice brush with the past, I headed to automotive. I got a shammy. I figured the next time Alex gets a shower, we could use one of those things. I then headed to HBA and got some shaving cream. Then I headed to the checkout and realized I was forgetting something. I went back to automotive, looking for a key ring holder, and did not find it, so I went to pets where I did find what I was looking for. JOHD, don't even ask, I can't finger it out myself.
I thought in my head how Alex could use a drying off. So we took the usual route home, consisting of I-235w to I-80e/35n back to I-235w again. I pushed Alex, but not too hard since he is still in the break in period. I had him up to 120 MPH easily. After that, any additional speed would have meant going near or past 5,000 RPM. So I backed down. When I got home, the water that was left and I was attempting to get rid of was frozen. Just as I had expected half way to home. Oh well.
JOHD, you won't believe what happened next. For the first time ever, I shaved with a straight razor. My body obviously was going to inform me I had never done this before since I was bleeding under my neck. No cuts, mind you. Then I took a shower to take care of the hair that was still all over me from when I was at Bud's. It was time for bed, so to the couch of stiffness I went and slept.
I woke up, hit the computer for a little bit. No, not literally even though I think about it at times. Then it was off to work. Got to work, just barely making it past the time, and I had my hood up on my coat. It was testing time for the humans. The first person who failed the test was Wil. He always talked about how Alex was going to be angry because I had not cleaned myself up hair wise. Well, until I took my hood off, he failed to realize the fact my hair was missing on my face as well as the top of my head. Everyone asked me, "Are you cold?" It got to a predictable point, and I found humor in it. Only two people had their observation hats on. Lucy and SME Chris. However, I think Chris may have cheated with the help of Bud. Lucy had me go over to a few other managers to show off Bud's handy work. He defininately got the attention of everyone.
Bad Hair Tickets
Work did not go as fine as I would have liked. I was past my first break and still stuck on my first ticket. Even Bob and Chris, teamed together, were not able to really tell what the problem was with this guy's 866 toll free number. My tickets for the day would be rather slim. Lunch time came, to where once again I would get 30 minutes of attempted eating. I cooked chicken again on the grill but this time I added Tabasco sauce to it. Wow... I have never had this stuff before, but it packs a punch. Mind you, I enjoy spicy food, but it would have been nice if I would have been warned. Bud liked my cooking since he suggested adding the TS right before I took the chicken off the grill.
The Mightnight Run
I think I barely made my tickets, if I was lucky. I took Alex out for his usual midnight run. I started to fantasize hard core how if I put enough brain power into it, that Alex would start talking to me and reporting things to me. I did this for most of the 30 mile trip. Alex is getting up there in miles. He is around 760+ now. Such a growing young boy he is! I was also thinking about the trip to AZ and the slight possibility of having Stingray join with. Ever since the shock of him talking to you about seeing me has brought that possibility of a real road trip to mind.
I got home and I chatted with Riede and Alienesse for a while. [EVENTS now] This went on for a while, and the chat with Alienesse is referenced under AL155 and AL156 while Riede is under IL77 and IL78. I would also chat with Tina and that was referenced under MR25. The chats would get cut into because my ISP is the crappiest ISP since AOL. AOL, of course, shall always wear the "we suck hair" crown. Before my ISP went out, Alienesse taught me a new game, and I am not sure what to think of it. It is called Slimewars. I think what made me play it most is it reminded me of the good old TI-99 game of Slimeiods. I should hook my TI-99 up some day to the 27" TV. hEhEhE... that would be funny. Well, for some reason, I decided to call it an early night. I was to bed... or couch, I guess I should say, around 2 in the morning.
Besides going to bed earlier than usual, I got up rather late all things considered. My body must have been attempted to catch up on a few hours of sleep. I had a strange dream involving Aliens. I was Ripely, and Newt was in trouble, and this time, the Aliens had guns almost better than I did. Eeks! Too bad I woke up from that, I could have taken them... there was only a hundred and fifty of them! SME Chris finally found my Yahoo address and sent me messages about this guy who has a bunch of Floyd and how he wants to go on a date with her. He is 27 from what I hear. hEhEhE... yeah, no comment. As for right now, my feet are freezing. I do not understand it, must be since I moved the computer near the two windows. That added to the fact I do not use my heater. Who knows what I might burn down. Master of Maddness, signing off 0113p......

Just the heater thing cracked me up
Madd? I think it's a very wise idea not to turn your heater on because you're right...who knows what you would burn down? HaHaHa

Re: Just the heater thing cracked me up
You must not know for sure who wrote that
You need to post a larger picture of Alex. I can't see his entire body and while I'm sure that I do know what the license plate says, I can't read it in this picture. :)

I have pictures, I am just figuring out where to put them and how to desplay them.
Put them on your homepage and display them in color :)
You make things so much more difficult than they have to be ;)

What about YOU?
... and you take the most simple things and turn them into smart ass remarks.
